Thank you for choosing Doctors Office Toronto. We strive to make your visit to our clinic informative and stress-free.
Our medical team will take the time to make sure that a trusting and comfortable relationship is established right from your very first appointment.
During your scheduled appointment a team member will bring you to a room and will gather information on the reason for your appointment. Next, your physician will see you and depending on the nature of your appointment testing, diagnostics may be ordered. If required prescriptions will be provided and followup appointments may be scheduled.

We are happy to provide online booking services with Medeo. Prefer to call? You can call your physician's receptionist to book an appointment.
All of our physicians are dedicated, caring medical professionals who have chosen to practice medicine as the result of a heartfelt desire to help people. The reality of medicine today is that the system is overburdened, physicians are being asked to handle more patients and a wider range of medical issues each day. We are doing our best and when your turn comes your concerns will also be given an appropriate amount of time and attention.
If you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance. This allows the clinic to free up a spot for another patient waiting for an appointment.
Missed appointment without prior notice will be charged a fee.
Due to the volume of test results coming to our clinic daily, normal results will not be reported to the patient. We will contact patients with abnormal results or for tests that require a follow-up visit to our clinic. Pregnancy test results will be reported in a phone call to the patient. If you wish to discuss test results with your doctor, please book a follow-up appointment for one to two weeks after the tests are done.
If you have a health-related question that you wish to discuss, please make an appointment to see your doctor. Most medical questions need to be dealt with your doctor in order to assess the healthcare concern and document matters properly. Please do not ask our office staff for medical advice as they cannot legally respond to your questions.
Your doctor is the only person that can refer you to a specialist. If you need to see a specialist or undergo certain specialized testing, your doctor will send a referral request to the consultant directly from our office. You will then be contacted by our staff (by phone or mail) to confirm an appointment time.
Your doctor will renew your prescriptions at each visit to meet your ongoing needs. Please anticipate your needs well in advance to reduce the need for telephone renewals.
If you require a telephone prescription renewal, contact your pharmacy and they will fax us the information. Please allow up to 48 hours for your physician to respond to a prescription request from your pharmacy.
If you do not pay the annual fee, please make an appointment with your doctor to obtain prescriptions. This way your will not be charged for a prescription repeat. If you do pay the annual fee please have your pharmacist fax us the prescription you need.
The Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) pays for most of your medical visits to our office. There are some services which OHIP does not cover, such as prescription refills by phone or medical forms for insurance.
These pay-for-services fees are available on as needed basis, or you can opt-in to one of our Annual Fee Plans as a convenient way to manage services that are not covered by OHIP.
More than 80% of our Patients Require Services Not Covered by OHIP. As a licensed Medical Professionals, bound by the laws of Ontario, we must follow strict guidelines in providing and documenting all medical services whether OHIP covers these services or not. For services that are not reimbursed by OHIP we must bill these services – from doctors’ notes to emergency after hours telephone advise – directly to our patients.
By choosing to make one annual payment, you are automatically covered for many common medical services not covered by OHIP. Our plan is designed to save you time in unnecessary office visits, make budgeting for your family’s health care easier and, in most cases, more economical as well.
If you have an emergency, call 911
Outside of office hours, please call Telehealth to speak with a nurse.
